I was awarded full SS for IU and I'm 60% service connected. I'm waiting for a determination from VA for IU too. Been awarded by SS does it affect my claim of IU with the VA or helps? Thx

Hi guys;

I was awarded in 2003 a 20% for my diabetes due to A.O. in 2003, 10% for my left lower extremity and 10% for my right lower extremity for my neouropathy, in 2008. In 2009 10% for my left arm and 10% for my right arm all service connected. I'm getting $845 (including my wife), is that the correct amount? All sums 60% but I'm getting pay for 50%. An I'm wrong in my mathematics? Thxs.

Can I apply for an increase in my neurophaty due to this (Cervical/lumbar discs problem)? I have a recent MRI of the cervicals 2009 and a lumbar CT Scan from 2007.

Hi: Just wondering if I can apply for SS because my NP in my legs and arms. I had bee out of my job for about 6 months. My VA service connected is 60%. I can't work because the pain in my legs, arms and neck pain. My job required me to be seated for long periods of time. Left my job because of that. Can I apply for SS benefits? Thx

New in here, just find out about this site and it's very informative. I'm a Vietnam vet since 1969. 40% disable with NP in my legs. I'm from Puerto Rico. B)
