Have you thought about contacting your State Senator and asking for help? In SC sometimes they get involved and get things done fast.... Just a thought. I'm WildBill's wife... and I have been through this process. I worked as a paralegal and helped many people get their SSDI. Sadly, I also was diagnosed with MS and went through the process myself. At the time I was an Adm. Judge and had LTD insurance. They provided an attorney to represent me. I was denied twice. They sent me the same rejection letter both times, just changed the date, had the same typos. Long story short, I appeared before the ALJ, did not play any games, people said wear old clothes, no make up, have somone else drive you.
I don't know if you know much about MS, but fatigue, confusion and memory loss are some of the symptoms. I went to the hearing office on a regular basis as part of my job, on that day I went to the workman's compensation hearing office and almost missed my hearing. I guess that made an impression on the Judge! Good luck everybody. I was lucky, I didn't have to worry... I was geting paid anyway.

PSA 26.2??? Man that WAS BAD. I'm WildBill's wife and if y'all don't mind I thought I would put my 2 cents in. Bill's cancer was dx in 2000 went to Johns Hopkins for a radical, cancer returned in 2008, went through radiation, had a heart attack during the time he was having treatments. He filed a claim in 2001, the VA gave him 20% SC. We have gone to the VA and asked for help for radiation. He has never seen a Urologist at the VA or an Onocolgist or a Cardiologist. We have paid for everything with private insurance. Bill was 100% six months after his completing his radiation in 2008. After his first PSA was normal they cut him to 60%.

I went to ER in Aug 09 with rectal bleeding. I had radiation for prostate cancer in 08. Nobody told me about the possibility of rectal bleeding after radiation. I was on Plavix for a heart attack I had while going through the radiation. I freaked out. I thought I was going to bleed to death. I went to the nearest ER. I have insurance because I'm still dragging my tired old butt to work because I need the insurance. My wife has MS. I tried to get the VA to pay the bills once they determined it was radiation proctitis. My ins. paid then they found out I filed with the VA. They said they would not pay. The VA has refused to pay because I had insurance. The reason I filed with the VA was, even if my ins. paid I was still going to be billed about $2000.00. It cost me $8000.00 to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. Sorry I got long winded... I sure could use some help with my claims I have been fighting the VA for the last 10 years on my own...
