Hello, My name is Marc. Air Force fire fighter from Sept. 90' - Sept. 94. Gulf War early 92' (no combat). Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in Jan. 2001. Just received 30% service connected disability this week. If you were diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis within 7 years of discharge or had symptoms within that time you are eligible for service connected. E-mail me @ msaucier72@comcast.net for more info or go to pva.org. I want to get the word out to as many people as possible. I lost approx. $50,000 because I did not know sooner. :)

    Need Advice

In 2001 I was having left hand "spasm" which was classified as a seizure. Also left side weakness. Went through all of the tests and finally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Just got disabled veteran status this week. I was diagnosed 6 years and 6 months from discharge date. If diagnosis is within 7 years of discharge date it is considered service connected at minimum of 30%. Have them check for MS. Good luck.
