I lucked out on the SC of Mixed Sleep Apnea (Diagnosed 2010). My CAD and quad bypass was 2006. My non-VA Neurologist Apnea Specialit, (also a VET), made a nexsus linkage to the CAD. Had I been diagnosed with MSA prior to CAD diagnosis, I would not have gotten the SC.

In retrospect, I can't believe that I didn't know about HADIT and the other Vet web sites until after 8/2008. It's difficult for mature adult males to admit, even to themselves, that they dropped the ball. Had I been proactive, my retro for CAD would have been Neimer'd back to 2006. Alas, it is, what it is.
