  1. No SSDI, was and still working couple hrs per day, selfemployed. Applied TDIU, denied 09/12 due to " gainful employment", determined by income of $4K over poverty threshold. No discussion of sheltered income in protected employment. Currently waiting on DRO review hearing.

  2. age and how long rated 100% SC are important. Check your heart condition ratings in 38 CFR under heart condition ratings. Best wishes Brother! Note: Remember, if you get a VA letter advising you of a change in your rating, you have to be prepaired to move fast. I think you have 60 days to file NOD. Get a free consult from an approved VA Claims and Appeals Attorney. You certainly don't need the additional stress of worrying about to comp reduction.

  3. I lucked out on the SC of Mixed Sleep Apnea (Diagnosed 2010). My CAD and quad bypass was 2006. My non-VA Neurologist Apnea Specialit, (also a VET), made a nexsus linkage to the CAD. Had I been diagnosed with MSA prior to CAD diagnosis, I would not have gotten the SC.

    WOULDA, COULDA, SHOULDA!!!

In retrospect, I can't believe that I didn't know about HADIT and the other Vet web sites until after 8/2008. It's difficult for mature adult males to admit, even to themselves, that they dropped the ball. Had I been proactive, my retro for CAD would have been Neimer'd back to 2006. Alas, it is, what it is. Now I'm on a mission to see all Vets, don't make the mistakes I made.
