Va Policy For Preferential Treatment At Ptsd C&p Exam

Question

The first question my VA C&P examiner asked me was "do you know anybody important in the military or the VA?" is this their policy or did I just have a screwed up examiner who only gives a crap about her career? Because that has nothing to do with my health or condition.

I would have said, "Me, ins't that why you invited me here in the first place?"

Ok, now in reality, I would have mentioned that it wasn't relevant to your medical condition and moved foward from there.

Have a great day!!!

Yesterday I had an exam with an ortho doc about my bad joints.

They asked me a few questions that puzzled me.

Do I take antidepressants? Yes.

Do I smoke? Yes.

Do I drink? No.

Why have I waited so long to seek an examination? That's when my blood pressure went through the roof.

Then the doc told me that my knee needs to be replaced and that the other x-rays did not make it to him.

He told me that he has performed a multitude of knee replacements but his contract with the VA prevents him from doing any knee replacements for VA patients.

He offered no treatment at all.

No drugs or braces or therapies.

I can't travel to another facility because of my recent neck surgeries.

The doctor had no other records on me at all, at least not a file folder.

They have motives for asking us unusual questions.

They want to collect data on patients, in general, without paying for medical treatments.

As long as we keep seeking medical services, they get to pull blood and collect urine and ask us those stupid questions.

I'm shocked that they didn't ask about my love life or illegal substances.

Yes, I know some politicians, they don't care for me either.

Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA.

It's up to us to help each other.
