I am new here, so I apologize if I posted on the wrong forum. I am still waiting to have my claim decided and I am Priority 8 because of my wife's income. As long as claim determinations seem to take, I was wondering if anyone knew if anything is in the works to return health benefits to P-8 vets? Thanks.

Its a tough spot but I doubt that Priority 8 Vets are going to get back in anytime soon. You can be reimbursed for your costs after effective date of your Service Connected disability. I wish I had better news for you.

One other thing is in an emergency if it happens they have to treat you.

Good Luck hope you win soon.

    ‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of  ‘I have a question."

    This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?”
