SLEDGE
HELP! I have a long standing goof in the printer that defies every known law of mechanical physics. Basically, I don't know squat about programming or how to correct a glitch. The person who made this contraption print lives 10 hours away. I found somebody else who is no longer available. This thing always reverts back to it's old ways a day or two after somebody tweaks it. Picture this, It will copy and print from the scanner but the color is completely nuts if I try to print anything from an internally saved file. Reloading the driver has not helped, virus clan shows nothing, cache and cookies and history are all cleaned, the machine tells me that everything is in order and my pills don't cover this kind of aggravation. Lexmark........ Any suggestions? sledge Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted June 14, 2007 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 14, 2007 I would go to the Lexmark website and reload the drivers. Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
In Memoriam Stretch Posted June 14, 2007 In Memoriam Share Posted June 14, 2007 The ink cartriages might have the protective strip stuck on one of them. You could go to your printers in the control panel and run the test. SLEDGE
Never mind, I got me a new one. Actually, I picked one up that a relative wasn't using anymore. The physical characteristics of the new unit is identical to the old one and the software can't tell the difference. The new one prints just fine. Now I have a new target for my deer rifle, as soon as I get a deer rifle. sledge Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA.
