I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am sced for coronary artery disease and wonder if anyone would know if apnea is a seconary condition to heart disease?

Has your CAD caused any Pulmonary problems? There may be a link if you have a related Lung condition. A good one is a person who has had Bypass surgury and has had the Phrenic Nerve cut and has a paralyzed Diaphragm. Then Sleep Apnea can be connected as a result.
