Question

What I'm wondering about is.....

When one puts in a claim for a SC & is already SC has anyone ever had the RO deny claim & lock up SC one has & one has to go to BVA & wait for another approval? Which in the mean time one draws no SC.

Thank You,

GARY

Gary,

The VA can do many things, some of which are illegal; but ROs are not allowed to reduce or cancel an established rating,; has to be done at a higher level; and can't be done as the result of filing another claim.

Should you ever get a review of another claim, as a result of filing a new one, then you can give us the specifics, and ask for our help. Until that time, go ahead and file whatever claims you can medically justify, and try not to worry about nebulous possibilities.

Good luck

Fight the VA as if they are the enemy; for they are!

Does not seem right. Maybe you should call them and ask about it. Better yet go to the VARO and ask.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Thank U for the replies.

I'm glad to hear the RO can't tie up one's SC.

I either read that or heard it somewhere & figured I'd check with the folks on Hadit to get the truth.

Thank again.
