the motto by this website, " it is often said that patience is a virtue, but when it comes to dealing with the department of Veterans Affairs, it's a requirement " is so true. after 5 plus years, I was finally awarded a retro 100 % from 7 / 2000 to sometime in 2002. I'm now in Florida & I went thru VVA & the Florida Div of Vet's Affairs. took about 8 months.

I believe that persistence & sticking with a good SO is the key. I can't say enough about VVA & the FDVA's.

And I did make a donation to VVA to show my appreciation. ;)

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.
