H.R.1585 was Vetoed by President Bush. However, H.R. 4986 became Public Law. Unfortunately, you'll have to read through most of the Bill to sort out related veterans' legislation for 2008. ~Wings

Title: To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2008 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes. Who can make any sense of all that crap? Thanks for posting but I have no clue

Pete, I emailed Larry Scott and he said he'd post the sections most relevent to vets. If you scan below, you can see there are few veterans benefits, but there are some - we are waiting for GPO to release the full text. I'll keep you posted. HUGS!! ~Wings

TITLE VII--HEALTH CARE PROVISIONS
