Founder Tbird Posted February 23, 2008 Founder Share Posted February 23, 2008 July 29, 1952 - February 29, 2000 A brother to us all, always there to lend a hand and ease the pain a bit. We honor Don for who he was, those that were touched by Don's life were indeed lucky. I consider blessed in the time I knew Don and he was a comfort to me and others on more than one occasion. Rest well brother you've earned it. I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life. The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted February 23, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted February 23, 2008 Don died from non service connected Agent Orange Cancer. He used to be up early in the am and always had a joke and a word of encouragement to anyone he could drag into our old chat forum. His wife Susan was a dear person and I pray that she is doing well. He also had a brother who came online from time to time but is no longer posting. I attended his funeral it was very sad he was loved by many in his community. Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
