My Laptop Went Into "hybernation"

Dear Fellow Veterans & Friends.

My laptop this morning came up with a sign that warned me it was going into hybernation. It shut itself off and has not come back on. When I push the on button the button will light for 4 econds and then shut off. I tried every thing I know and it wont boot up. I dont have it hooked to the internet so I dont think any virus got to it. Can any one tell me how to get it out of hybernation and why it did this. Man what a hassel. I cant figure why they would put such a order into computers.

hey i dont know if this will help but, i pulled it off the internet off of askjeeves.com It may be hibernating. Hold the power button in for about 10 seconds to see it springs to life. If this is the problem go to control panel-power options-hibernte tab and uncheck he "enable hibernation" check box.

hope that helps....
