HadIt.com Elder Josephine Posted August 14, 2008 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 14, 2008 CG, We will see where this adventure takes me. I am going to take my records with me, as the last time I saw this doctor, so many of my medical records were left out. Thanks so much, Betty
HadIt.com Elder cowgirl Posted August 15, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 15, 2008 Good Betty, I am thinking a few things. I am not sure if the VA has assigned you this doc or you are paying outta pocket. First, if hippa paper needs signed, you may want to instantly add the VA/BVA or a trusted relative permission to gain access to your records or visit. Also you could give the doc 'copy' of your medical records (especially if its a slim package) to keep. Also recall most docs nowdays only keep medical records for 7 years, so immediatley get a copy of the exam on paper or cd. (or both!) Best to ya, cg CG, We will see where this adventure takes me. Thanks so much, Betty For my children, my God sent husband and my Hadit family of veterans, I carry on. God Bless A m e r i c a, Her Veterans and their Families! Best to ya, cg Cg, The VA sent me what ever you call them papers, to let me know that I would receive notice of a C&P for increased compensation and also for Unemployability. Sure enough, I have received two notices from the medical center to be there to see this PhD Psychologist. Believe me I am much wiser today than I was in 2004 and 2005. I will definitey be there to see him. I am taking all of my medical records and definitely a copy of his own C&P as he has already stated, my medical records support that I quit my job in 1983 due to high stress anxiety. I will make sure I take that particular medical record, so that he can see where he read it and that I did not tell him this. It is in black and white in my medical records. The last C&P he was generous to tell me his decision, hoping to to be so lucky this time. Thanks a bunch! How are the young one's? Betty
