PE1
I haven't found ADD or ADHD in the 38 CFR. Is it rated if it's treated with Concerta?
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted December 10, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 10, 2008 I don't think ADD is a personality disorder because they treat it with medications. It is a medical condition. I bet it is often confused with a PD because the person is hyperactive and gets into trouble because they can't concentrate and get bored easily. PE1
ADHD is not a personality disorder in the DSM IV. But it's under childhood and adolescent conditions. In the new DSM V coming out in 3 more years it's not going to be a personality disorder either. Until then, does the VA rate adult ADD/ADHD?
