Moderator broncovet Posted March 4, 2009 Moderator Share Posted March 4, 2009 Yes, this was also posted on VA watchdog with a little more detail: http://www.vawatchdog.org/09/nf09/nfmar09/nf030409-1.htm It has been 5 months since the "October Incident"..and the Va knew of this well before October, in fact back in 1989. What have they done about it? They have attempted to cover it up. Reason: It makes money for VA employees when they cheat Veterans out of their benefits, like this guy: http://www.va.gov/oig/publications/press-release.asp?id=29 The VA employees are robbing Veterans blind. I was watching "Mrs. Obama" on the news yesterday surounded by military wives. She was saying how she was going to do everything she could to insure soldiers and their families will be taken care of. I would assume this to be vets and their spouses. How long before she forgets to do anything along with her hubby? As soon as she left the building. HadIt.com Elder cowgirl Posted March 4, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 4, 2009 Just reviewed this information here and at Vawatchdog. I went to the hearing page and read Berta's heartwrenching testimony was included. I am just astounded and stunned about it all. Enough talk and promises, give veterans the correct change. God Bless you Berta and all, Cowgirl'up2009! For my children, my God sent husband and my Hadit family of veterans, I carry on. God Bless A m e r i c a, Her Veterans and their Families!
