"Military Retirement" and /or CRSC ... just went POOOF in the wind for the lack of a few days ??? And now .. you will only get a 60% VA check (tax offset only) and/or a Retirement Check without CRSC .. ??? I am a bit confused and I must have read your post wrong ??? ...Magoo .. aka .. Bill ... gbennett
Mr Magoo You read it right !!!!!! I get my 60% VA money. They deduct that money from my Navy pension ! I fact I'm I'm losing $957 a month because I claimed a disability with the god damn VA. I'm pissed.....Realy realy pissed and I can't take it anymore. I wasted 19 years 11 months and 2 days defending our government to be treated like this. shit
HadIt.com Elder Magoo_Mr. Posted March 21, 2006 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 21, 2006 (edited) . gbennett: There MUST be a way around this. This is really a bad deal as they (Navy Medical) could have even given you convalesent leave from the hospital for the HNPs in your back. That leave alone would have put you over to "20 year mark" for CRSC. All that you needed was about another 28 or so days out of a 20 year period. Maybe someone else can jump in here with an idea around this problem ... ??? Have you thought of going the Congressional route ... just curious ??? Good luck ... ...Magoo aa aka .. Bill ... B) . gbennett
I got em by the short hairs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 I found a mathematical error on my DD214's. I have 20 years 11 days Active duty. I already mailed the forms certified mail to get my record corrected. I even talked to the va guy his name by the was is JOEL in the Albuquerque regional office to inform them and this JACKASS wanted to argue with me about concurrent receipt, He said I couldn't do it. I said OK and hung up on the fool. Everyone should call this fool and remind him of the Law. Thank Everyone for your support. Now I have to wait to get my record corrected. Thanks Guys Gordon

I am going through the "Social Security Barbed Wire Drill" right now, myself ... but I will eventually get those SS weisels. Congratulations ... ... Magoo .. aka .. Bill ... B) . On the plus side, once you get through all the SS red tape, they are FAR easier to deal with then the VA. Basically, the wife gets a letter every 3-5 yrs asking her if her condition has changed...she says no and they reward her 5 more years. If only the VA were so easy:-) P.S. - It's sad that the SS folks seem to think veterans are honest, but the VA assumes they are all lying crooks.
