Question

;) The battle has begun. I talked to my DAV rep today and he said the my claims for pes planus, back, shoulder, neck and shin splints has been decided. I was denied on my back, shoulder, neck and shin splints. I was granted for pes planus but at 0%. For the life of me I can't figure how I was granted 0% for pes planus. It was noted on entrance exam but the doctor at the c&p said it was aggravated by the military plus the history of it in my smr plus have been seen by the VA since I got out and they made me custom orthotics plus sent me to physical rehab. I am shocked right now. Even my 4 year old can play connect the dots. I guess I shouldn't assume the VA is smarter than a 4 year old.

Ok...so what do I do now. I have not receive my official letter yet I am just going by what my DAV rep told me this morning.

I feel like the slow kid in my class just sucker punched me.

The VA is like my drunk uncle Ed -

1. He owe's you money but will never admit to it.

2. He is such a liar you don't know when he's telling the truth.

3. If you tell him anything personal he will find away to use it against you.

4. He's not at all particuliar about who he screws.

5. While in the middle of a game he will change the rules.

6. He is a jack of all trades master of none

elliott,

Not a total loss - even though VA granted pes planus at zero %,

it is now SC'd.

Starting point # 1 up the VA ladder.

Of course your going to wait and get your hard copy of the rating decision

so you can check these sections:

Evidence

Reasons and Bases.

Can't really plan on your NOD without knowing that info,

except for what your vso may... or may not do.

jmho,

carlie

Carlie passed away in November 2015 she is missed.

You need your own doctor to look over your SMR's and connect the dots and refute what the VA has said in your rating.

Elliottme2, just because it didn,t work the first time, you don't give up. A lot of us failed the first time. That is the way the va works, unless you have some undisputible evendence that they can't get around. Appeals do take awhile but they can be won. The va is not an easy system navigate thru and we all need all the help we can get. I wish you the best of luck, just don't give up.

I have no intention on giving up. I only had c&p exams for my back and feet..all the other issues such as shin splints and shoulder were never scheduled a cp exam.
