Is It Time For An Attorney?

Rate this question

Question

Is it time for an attorney? If so where to find a “Board Certified Attorney” that accepts VA claims someone that knows how to complete “FORM 9”

My claim process started almost two years ago and now I am @ 20% but disabled and drawing SSA DISABILITY I am at the point that I want to go for their throat. Thanks in advance for legal suggestion or contacts.

Ken:

First of all I know how you feel. If you are willing to pay an attorney 20% of your retro to speed things up and take some of the worry out than yes it is time for you.

If you want all of your retro you should not have that much trouble besides the waiting to win your claim

Good Luck

Since you get Social Security if it is connected to your 20% VA Service Connected disabliity I feel that you almost have a bullet proof claim but it will take time.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

The SSA is not connected to my SC 20% but is connected to the denied claims. I have no problem will a winning attorney receiving 20% of retro.

Need to find a good one in hopes some members would recommed.

Please share with us the reason for your denial. Are you receiving SSA solely for your service connected condition? Are your receiving SSDI?

I am recieving SSDI not for the 20% I recieve at this time, but my SSDI is a major part of my claims (Peripheral Neuropathy)that were denied.

I contacted a few Lawyers including Karl K off of Jim Stricklands recommendation, but they don't want to touch your case until after BVA denial. At least that is what they told me. I know one guy in DC who represents me. He is not a lawyer, but is a former rating specialist. He goes right to VA in DC and gets things done. He got me my 80% and is I still have 2 appeals in that will be going to a BVA travel board eventually. Let me know if you want his info.
