congrats on the P&T and the TDIU no you do not have to be 100% schedular for P&T there are many TDIU vets that are 70%TDIU P&T all P&T means is that the VA does not feel you will recover to the point of employability again

now if you miss the C&P exam for PTSD they can and may reduce you just because they can you still need to keep that appointment do NOT miss it now make sure you find out what benefits your state has for 100% vets bcase most treat P&T vets the same way they do 100% vets IU or not ir can save you thousands of dollars a year in taxes maybe, if you live near a military base get your ID cards so you can shop at the PX and commissary if you want to I love their sidewalk sales you got the brass ring enjoy it

100% SC P&T PTSD 100% CAD 10% Hypertension and A&A = SMC L, SSD

The other benefit is Champ VA for the wife and Kids if any that are in the age category.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

they are good to have aren't they I had one since I was a child my step father was retired Air Force I then spent almost 10 years active then NG then activated for GW1 and now P&T I found out how much I missed not having that card in my wallet people that have never had one don't have a clue as to what they have missed out on a military base is a full city auto shops wood shops vacation centers everything most people could want.....and the camaraderie of the people on the base a mutual respect for everyone there from the privates to the officers and to the family members and even the civilian employees that make it all work it's a huge functional family

ddown,

There is also Chapter 35 education benefits for your dependents.

carlie

depending on which state you live in there may also be additonal college benefits from the state here in South Carolina children of totally disabled veterans get a tuition free admittance to any public college in the state I think it includes books and lab fees etc... and then they also can get the Chapter 35 benies from the VA I am trying to talk my son into going to college before he joins the Army but he is thinking about joining with a friend of his from high school that doesn't really have the grades for college I am trying to show him his life is more than just one friendship ......check on all the benies your state has for P&T vets though property tax exemptions vehicle tax exemptions, free hunting and fishing licenses etc
