DeeDee
My Doc is taking me out of work. What do I need to send with my SSD application and my TDIU application? Do I resend all my med records to VA or just the new stuff? Any help appreciated. D
Berta
If the doctor has provided a good rationale for this and you have the nexus to your service of the reasons behind this medical decision, then I would attach a copy of this statement to your SSA and your TDIU application. Mention any meds you take for this and their side affects that also prevent you from working. If the doc said they believed this disability is due to your service- you will still need actual proof of the inservice cause of it for VA compensation (TDIU). Edited May 10, 2006 by Berta GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
