Va Pension Benefits And Medicare Card

Question

Hi, I am 100% disabled and receive VA Pension Benefits with AA, (Non Service connected ?) I'm 56, I wanted to know if I can get a Medicare card, not for money or drug benefits, but only to see a local Doctor if I have to as I can not travel to Mississippi, Biloxi Regional Medical Center from Panama City Flordia in my condition. I don't know how many miles to it but it is a long ways. I used to be on Medicaid (about 7 years) before switching over to VA Benefits

Who would I contact or apply too?, Thanks in advance. There is a small VA Clinic about 30 miles from me where I see Doctor their 2 times a year for blood pressure prescription.

Are you also on SSDI? If I'm not mistaken, until you reach retirement age, that's the only way to get Medicare. I'm sure if I'm wrong, somebody will come along with better info for you soon.
