Question

Did my daily login to eBenefits a few minutes ago and found that my claim closed today after having been in notification for 4 days. I filed 8/18/10, twelve days into the IHD Nehmer box. It wasn't a complicated claim, just 5 issues and a claim for TDIU (quit my job as a golf professional 12/12/10 due to physical problems:

1. DMII

2. Peripheral Artery Disease (post iliofemoral bypass)

3. Peripheral Neuropathy

4. PTSD

5. IHD

I'm amazed that it went as fast as it did. I used a county VSO, but I developed the claim entirely on my own. It'll be interesting to see how I'm rated. All the issues save for the IHD had been in rating review since 12/2/10.

In your experience, what is the time frame from this point? I know today is a federal holiday, and my credit union is closed, but it looks like all that's left is for the SOC to arrive in the mailbox and the DD put in the bank. What say y'all??

I should have gone to the letter generator first. The TDIU went through it looks like. They didn't get my wife on there yet, but I also got SMC-K for ED. Overall, I'd say it's a home run.

godeep,

You will probably need to submit this for signed and with whatever additional

documentation it asks for, to get your dependent pay processed.

Thanks, Carlie! I thought I already provided that info when I applied, but because I'm going to request a copy of my C-File, I'll send them both.
