I filed a claim for a few different conditions back in September 2010. I had my C&P exam in December 2010. I was just wondering how long it takes to hear anything back. I did get a letter stating they were still working on it but I have seen on here before that just about everyone gets one of those. I had called the 800# and I was told that the claim was in the Decision phase but that was in May or the beginning of June 2011. Hopefully I put this topic in the right place, if not I am truly sorry and hopefully the Mods. will move it for me. :) Thanks for any info you guys and girls have.

If the sand 'sof time is a clock( quick sand). Don't be mad, it takes time. Now saiding that, don't let your guard down.The goverment will play the game and you will lose! They put in a place you don't want to be. The 1-800 is a good choice of interaction with VA. Try to be nice as hard it is, because it workS. These guy in Hadit are veterans. in helping!!!

Hopefully, you will see an answer before September 2011. The answer may tell you that a C&P is scheduled, it may request more information, or be an approval, a partial approval, with issues "deferred", or even a denial.

Remember that "simple" VA claims are taking about five months at a minimum.

is that 5 months from start to finish or 5 months after c&p exam?
