InfantryGrunt
I am posting this because a fallen soldiers wife asked a question about her child having certain medical conditions that she believes took place because her husband served in Desert Storm War as I did. I only have one thing to say about the syndrome and that is, three of my soldiers who came back home from the war, got their wives pregnant and with in 3 to 4 months of being pregnant their babies died inside of the womb. Now I have talked to several Doctors about Gulf War Syndrome and they all don't believe it. I was watching the series of "House" and when a veteran told him he has Gulf War syndrome he just said right and it does not exist. I was really upset at that and the doctors that told me the same thing. I guess when a person does not experience a war them selves then they just go on some far fetched idea that something isn't true because apparently they have not reviewed documents about the war and the Sarin gas and Depleted Uranium that we were exposed to and the oil wells that was burning and the fumes and chemicals we were breathing in from them (Heavy Metals Poisoning). All that has a big effect and toll on the human body.
sharon
There are currently no birth defects that are presumtive of Gulf War. But like Agent Orange, I am sure over time there will be.
