Guest
You might want to contact VA 1-800 number to verify all documents needed and then hand carry everything into VA to submit them. VA will need original copies of the documents and they get lost or misplaced. http://www.vba.va.go...21-686c-ARE.pdf

cooter
You and wife has to submit copies of the divorce decree's from all previous marriages as well. If by chance you can.t find them, you can phone the Superior Court records department of the state the divorce took place and request the copies to be mailed to you, and usually at a small price. You can also have them certified if you needed to. I want to emphasize the fact that any little mistake filling out the 21-686c form will be delayed until everything is corrected. Even a wrong number on a birth date will throw flags up. Also, Congratulations on you new marriage! Coot
