Claim Moved From Philadelphia To Winston Salem

I separated from the Marine Corps on 25 Jan 2012 and I applied for the BDD program. I applied for the program on Nov 3, 2011, finished my C&P Exams on 21 Dec 2011, and moved to Decision stage on 16 Jan 2012 all in Philadelphia VARO. I received a call from the Philadelphia VARO today in regards to my claim. They told me that everything has been forwarded to the Winston Salem VARO due to the BDD. I looked on eBenefits today and it now shows me back in the development stage. What's the deal?

This is absolutely normal for claims - no cause for alarm.

You're still in a holding pattern.

Hopefully in the next several months you will have some resolve.

Winston Salem is a hub for bdd claims. Philadelphia isn't.

Will I still be able to request a copy of my C&P's from Philadelphia? Will it slow down or pause the process if I do this? Also I have a pending claim for sleep apnea. I was reffered for a CPAP machine but never received one. Does that still fall under the 50% category?

If they set you up for an exam at your local vamc then you should be able to get a copy from ROI at hospital.
