Below is a list of sites that was sent to me by my Skipper from Nam and he passed it on to all of his Battery. If any of these sites helps anyone let some one else know.

Below are web-sites that provide information on Veterans benefits and how to file/ask for them. Accordingly, there are many sites that explain how to obtain books, military/medical records, information and how to appeal a denied claim with the VA. Please pass this information on to every Veteran you know. Nearly 100% of this information is free and available for all veterans, the only catch is: you have to ask for it, because they won't tell you about a specific benefit unless you ask for it. You need to know what questions to ask so the right doors open for you and then be ready to have an advocate who is willing to work with and for you, stay in the process, and press for your rights and your best interests.

Hello Flatbroke,

Thank you for posting information from another Veteran . I tried to open many of the links and they would not open. This is a common problem with VA and many other government sites that seem to let these websites or links , EXPIRE or they move them. Some of the links are still working but many show error messages. Most of us here have experinced this same problem with finding links and then they are gone. Sometimes it can be important information that could help the Veteran. Then it just makes the Veteran have to work harder when trying to gather information that may be critical for the Veterans Claim. And they wonder why the Veteran does not trust the VA. Once again thank you for posting that . You can still also go back and edit those links that are not working properly. NEVER GIVE UP. God Bless, C.C.
