Question

VA sent a letter to me for verify my wife SS #. We have been married for 15 years and she never updated her SS card. I got the SS-5 form online and filled it out and she sign it.

The question is can I take this form to the SS office with our marriage license and get her new card and the letter from SS administration showing correct SS # with out her being there!

No you can not unless you have power of attorney. We been down this road when my wife lost her wallet in a lake.
