hey all, here it goes, I won my request for increase in April of 06, but found an error in regards to my left shoulder chronic bursitis. They rated it on the first page at 10%, but later in the letter it said 20%. Yesterday 31 July they finally admitted it was a mistake on there part, and that it would be corrected with retro to June 05. The question is how long do you think it will be from this point before I have the money in hand? Correct me if Im wrong but 20+20+10+10 should now take me to 50% overall?

=================

Your "VA math":

start with 20%, leaving an 80% "well man"

20% + 20% of 80% = 20 + 16 = 36%

100 - 36 = 64% x 10% = 6.4%; added to 36% is now 42.4%

100 - 42.4% = 57.6% x 10% = 5.76%; added to the 42.4% gives 48.16% which goes to 50%

and CONGRATULATIONS!

If you get direct deposit check to be sure it's not already there.

Call the 800 # and ask when it will be disbursed.

Good luck.
