C&p Exam/process

Question

Can someone please advise me?

I recently separated from active duty Army. I submitted a claim with all medical records while AD. Just within the last month, I received an Award letter. It stated 60% for 2-3 issues. I have received the compensation with a retro date....

Today I received a letter in the mail stating I have the C&P exam scheduled for Aug 15.

For what is my question? For the already compensated claim? For the non service related issues that didn't meet for compensation?

Can someone explain this process or refer me? Is there someone at the VA I can call and ask?

thanks for any info,

Carlie, my status for my exam still shows "Pending" on eBenefits. According to ePeggy the VA has requested an exam, but nothing is showing up on my Exam Calendar or List yet. Do you think that I can call a number to ask what my examination(s) will be for, and if so, what is the best number to call?

Thanks,

Mark
