Vet moved to Asia and basically did not know the process to follow with notification to VA Finance department to transfer Comp funds to a new bank. Would appreciate a number to call rather than the call center 1-800-827-1000 number. Thank you. Will forward number to vet if anyone has it handy.

If I am following this correctly, it should still be the same process. Call the 800-827-1000 and have them change the direct deposit to whatever bank ( In the US ). The reason why I said that is because I am not sure if VA will deposit to a foreign account, at least not to my knowledge. And why would you want to? Its not FDIC insured. I travel abroad too. I get money from an ATM machine based from a bank here in the US that does not charge ATM fees. Perhaps get the same deposit here and then do a wire transfer.
