Question

I just got my rating increased from 30% to 80% and on the decision letter it stated for my fibromyalgia condition went from 10% to 40% and it said note an examination will be scheduled at a future date to evaluate the severity of your service connected fibromyalgia. Now they just did a comp and pension on it why are we doing this again? when will this be? what is it for really?

10% lipomas

20% lumbar spondylosis and degenerative disk disease

10% status post cholecystectomy with scars

10% right knee patellofemoral syndrome

10% left knee patellofemoral syndrome

50% anxiety disorder

20% chronic fatigue syndrome

10% keratoconus

30% gastritus claimed as heartburn with gerd, hiatal hernia and baret's esophagus

Because you are most likely not considered permanent and total. Just remember this. At any tiime the VA feels like it they can examine you for your service connected disabilities regardless of status.

Dont worry too much about it. It is usually 2 years between exams.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

I have a question. I'm not up to speed on fibromyalgia. Is that a viral infection?
