Question

Checked ebenefits today, they said that my consent for information for medical records from private physician didn't have the right address. I sent this in 2 years ago this month when I submitted my claim. i told them settle the claim without it.. I actually do not think that will help me, I have been currently seeing other civilian doctors for ptsd, anxiety, bi-polar and I never like the doctor that I had at that hospital anyway. So, maybe its a blessing, they have my current doctors info for the last two years.

You may be right with that assessment, and the newer information is always the best since its current. Keep your head up and keep banging at the door. They WILL let you in as no others are welcome, VETS only

I personally really enjoyed receiving an update from an IRIS inquiry a couple of years ago letting me know that the VA was waiting on medical records from my doctors office.

So I called Peggy at the 1-800 number, to find out when they sent the letter requesting the records with the release form I had sent them. It is at that point that the benefits rep says, Sir we haven't actually sent out that request yet, the letter has been requested and is scheduled to go out in about 63 days. The real wonderful thing about the situation is I sent the release about three months earlier.

NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
