usdart
From last friday it changed to 'Requested Evidence Overdue'. 'Developement Letter Sent'. I have recieved no request for evidence. Does this mean another party is holding up my claim? Maybe I should call and ask? Tried calling, said office closed. So I guess I just gotta wait again. 0 usdart
The VA doctor is the one who diagnosed PTSD. I have not been to any other doctors on this. I have a history with the VA system going back to 1984 on Hearing, and had surgery on my ears and sinus at the VA. I believe I will have a C&P on most or all of this crap. No, big deal, just another hoop. Hearing, tinitus, sinusitis, PTSD will probably all get me a C&P for each regardless what Linda said. Probably very rare to not have one. 0 bhoward422
I receive a development letter today 1/26/2014 it states we asked we asked the VA medical facility nearest you to perform a disability evaluation in connection with your claim. A disability evaluation includes a review of the medical evidence an sometimes examination. if a examination is necessary the medical facility will notify you of the date, time, place.now please someone with experience explain this one to me, Thanks! 0 TiredCoastie
Sounds like you can expect the VAMC nearest you to set up C&P exams to look into the items you have claimed. Depends on the VAMC, but you might get a call from someone confirming the appointment by telling you when it is and seeing how loud you react to the date and time. Sometimes, the only indication I got was a new appointment popping up on the calendar in MyHeatheVet or on the C&P calendar on eBenefits then the appointment notification letter in the mail.
