93% Finished?

Question

I read that the VA is claiming 93% of claims older than 1 year are done. They do not address the percentage of FDC claims finished.

I also read that 400,000 claims are backed up in the system.

Is it me or do these numbers sound funky?

Anyone know what is really going on?

Spinning the numbers to stay out of trouble does not help Vets. I wish they would put down their crooked pencil and get to the real work.

I am getting nervous here because Ebennies has had me in 'Review of Evidence' and 'Evidence Requested is past Due' for 3 months. The past due is just the 5103 which if you look at evidence recieved it shows it arrived in Aug 2013. So these are conflicting Satus's (or whatever it's called/spelled).

Megh,

How long can the NOD take as a Claim? I am new to this side as I just retired in February and I went thru the new IDES system while active, which was fairly quick. I submitted my SSD last month, and I just cant afford to wait years like a see a lot of guys go through on here.

Megh,

You know so much, but darn your good words hurt sometimes, LOL. I have heard so many bad things about Waco RO. I called the 1800# and the lady informed me that they even new in DC how backlogged and bad Waco is.
