Question:

Has anyone here received a negligence/ malpractice award , as VA comp under Section 1151, 38 USC ,or as 1151 DIC, from either the BVA or from a Colorado Regional office?

Then again , has anyone here received a 1151 award of any type from a Regional Office ,in the past 20 years not generated by a FTCA award or awarded by the BVA

I have FOIAs sent the VBA on this but found that I need to double check anything I get under FOIA from the VA.

I have the BVA info already .from VA Central .

I am not asking VA for any names...just date of the 1151 award, reason for award, whether a DIC award, or one given to a living veteran, and what RO generated the award.

yeah, I have emailed the reporter.....

There has been a slew of investigative reports on the net on this matter yet many of these reporters do not know how VA handles these issues ( or should handle them)

I already rattled off what my investigation is about regarding OMLA, OGC , NPDB, here at hadit. right after the Phoenix death scandal broke.and this is the first reporter who seemed interested in figuring out the whole picture.

It isn't the fault of investigative reporters but, unless they dealt with VA themselves personally on these issues , they would not know where the hidden true malpractice statistics are.

Only us FTCA/1151ers know. And it took me many years to find that out.
