SeattleShay
Finally got my C&P exams skd, but not until the end of the month. Both at American Lake VAMC, one on Wed. and one on Fri. At best a 2 1/2 hr drive for me. Seatlle VAMC is 45 min to 1hr. Skd with a Dr Ferguson for PTSD/MDD, and Dr Cundiff for ortho...at least I think they are docs.... 0 georgiapapa
SeattleShay, I checked the Health Care Provders list for the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and found a Dr. David Cundiff who is listed as an MD, public health & general preventative medicine. He is not an ortho doctor. I could not find any doctors with the last name of Ferguson in the system. Good luck on your C & P exams. 0 SeattleShay
Thanks GP for the info. I'm hopeing that the Ferguson is Dr Laura Ferguson who used to work at the Seattle VAMC. She treated me for 3 years and I loved her. We'll see.. georgiapapa

0 SeattleShay
How appropriate that they would assign a Public Health doc for my ortho C&P....... Maybe he can help me with the rash on my ankle while we're at it.....
0 georgiapapa
Shay, The only good thing about having a C & P examination for a specialized medical condition by a VA general practitioner or nurse practitioner is you know an IMO you get from a private specialist will more than likely trump a negative opinion by the VA examiner. Only the VA can get away with using incompetent medical personnel to conduct C & P exams. JMO GP SeattleShay
