I would contact the BVA ombudsman if I were you.

If you were not advised that the claim was transferred, then I assume you had no BVA docket number to use, if you had additional

evidence to send to them..

bva.ombudsman@va.gov

I think ebenny is getting to be like Peggy ( 800#)

Have you moved since filing your claim???

Yes. Many a Veteran has never received a decision and that does not mean it does not affect us. As Berta said, make sure that VA has your correct address. Did you move since you filed the I9?

Remember, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing at VA. So, you could have changed your address in one part of VA and it never got changed in other parts. For example, you could have changed it at your VAMC, and it may never have gotten changed at the BVA.

I dont know the date they said the decision was mailed to you, but if that date was more than 2 weeks or so ago, then:

1. Contact your representative and ask for a copy of decision.

2. If your representative also has no decision, then ask your RO or omnibubsman for a copy, like Berta suggested.

I have not moved in fact in may I was awarded another claim I was working on. On the appeal form 9 and all that filed in a timely fashion. And yes I don't have a docket number so I will contact the BVA ombudsman.
