Question

Hi there, i was just wondering if there was a time frame for a NOD initial contact, I have been waiting for ANY  CONTACT at the Phoenic VARO since September 2013 and have heard NOTHING from them on this NOD. Is this the normal to wait so long for intial contact?

Yes, you should have heard SOMETHING.  Hopefully, you sent your NOD Certified Mail Return Receipt requested or have other proof.  Did you send it through a VSO??

Suggestion:

Send an IRIS Email and ask the status of your appeal.  Start there.  You can also call Peggy, the 800 number.

Go to your VAMC and see the address they have on file?  Is it correct?

Toodle on down to your RO and go up to the info desk. Ask them if they can give you some hard facts on what the hold up is. It's fun to watch them blow bubbles in front of you.
