C&P Exam New Diagnosis (Service Connected?)

Question

Hey guys,

New guy here- Went to my C&P Exam in April and the doctor asked if I had anything bothering me that I had not claimed already, and I did in which I told him. After I identified that my ankle has been giving me issues he did a ROM test to determine its flexibility.

Question: Will I get any kind of disability from this if it is not documented well in my history? How well do my medical records have to reflect my conditions in order to get service connection disability? I am still in active duty for another 30 days so I still have the ability to make a few more appointments.

Thanks again for your support and advice,

Anthony

Welcome aboard bud.  The first thing you need is a Diagnoses, and likely x rays and MRIs. The problem with bone issues, is that alot of Vets will claim I did this, or sprained that. It just doesnt work like that. As I always say nothing speaks more the Hard Physical Evidence. Hell I had 2 surgeries on my R Knee while active and it was still a pain to get it SC along with my L Knee. I actually just had x rays on both, and going to have MRIs in the next few weeks as it looks like a few more surgeries to go. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless
