frosty69
Arch I was at my monthly VA pain class, the other day, they were checking people who take methadone, to make sure that they have had a recent EKG, one guy hadn't, so he had it done the same day, as I guess methadone can somehow affect your heart rhythm, you probably know this, but just in case, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a EKG as soon as possible. Personally don't take methadone now.
HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted December 17, 2006 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 17, 2006 I woukd look at the Lungs, Opiates effect the Lung. Can Cause Pulmonary Hypertension after Long Stabnding use. Of Course Pulmonary conditions aggrevate the heart and Vise Versa. A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
