Has anyone ever gotton a NSC condition connected for the Aggrevation of a SC condition?

I have fiiled for a Lung condition with Pulmonary hypertension as aggravating a heart condition.

Basically it should be a no brainer but I forget who we are dealing with.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

If a SC condition is found to "aggravate" or cause a secondary condition- the additional condition can be rated and SCed as to its extent.

In this case the VA examiner stated that the veteran's NSC HBP and retinopathy was not caused by his SC DMII-(which is probably a medically inaccurate report) however the BVA awarded:

ORDER

Service connection for hypertension with hypertensive

retinopathy is granted secondary to diabetes mellitus to the

extent that these disorders are aggravated by diabetes

mellitus.
