Any S. Carolina PTSD vets here?

Hello Berta, resident of SC for about four years, originally from your neck of the woods.  Born and worked in NYC but lived in Duchess Co where we raised our family.  You are someone I always wanted to reach out to and I'm very happy to finally connect.  Moved to the Myrtle Beach area about 4 years ago and only then got involved with the VA.  They have a wonderful support system down here and really amazing how EVERYONE just comes together and gets along at the Vietnam Vets meetings.  Hope to hear from you, have about eight issues I think you could help me with in dealing with the VA.   Thanks for calling out to SC

I am glad you are getting some good help from the VA!

I have no idea if the vet from S Carolina  ever joined. This was a situation that a member of my church in NY got me involved in and my best advice to her was to tell her daughter, who knew the vet in S Car., to enroll into the VA system there and join us here.

We did get a new member from S Carolina a few months later who only posted once to tell us he had finally enrolled into the VA system and was getting care.

I hope it was the same vet -based on the third party info the church member  gave me  (possible PTSD and possible suicidal ideation) but, when I heard that part , I told them to call the police in SC immediately if the daughter feared the veteran was in fact suicidal.

Many here can help you with your claims issues, and I will try to too.
