Question

Can you guys review this statement and let me know if it is ok or if it needs anything?  This a statement my ex wife wrote for me.  It is in basic format because we are going to put it a VA Form 21-4138 and then sign it.

Just wanted to get some honest opinions.

Thanks

That sounds like a good plan.  The reason I use a VSO is to get a look at VBMS.  They can look to see how the case is progressing.  Mine lets me write all of my on appeals etc and keeps me posted when I ask.  Right now he cannot though because my case is marked with a high access level he does not have the access to check my claim.  Why?  I do not know but the Whitehouse hotline has been asked and also my senator.

I recommend you number and underline each issue of the lay statement your ex provided. We both know those friggers aren't going to just read it without being pointed to what they need to read.

For example:

1. Flat Feet

2. Ankles

3. Knees

4.  Back

5 Sleep Apnea and Asthma

You're fortunate that your ex is a nurse. That's as detailed as a statement can be.
