Question

I've been in appeals process for 5 years. Got approved for 2 items, remanded for 6 and denied for 5. I'm in evidence gathering review and decision. Can someone give me an estimate of how much longer I have left??

Well, no.  How do you know you "have been awareded 2 and remanded 6"?   Did you get a Board decision?

If so, it has to be implemented by the VARO.  The VARO takes exactly as long as they want to.

Six months, however, is often mentioned when you get a board remand.  Could be sooner or later.

Is your case still at the BVA?  Have you gotten your envelope?  If your case has been remanded back to the RO they will most likely set you up for a new C&P.  Sometimes they do not but 5 years is a long time to make a decision on a C&P, as they did in my case.  Bronco says six months but that might be conservative, it sometimes takes up to a year.  If it takes over six months ask your lawyer to file a writ of mandamus.
