Rating increase for diabetic retinopathy

Question

I was medically retired from the Navy with Insulin Dependent Diabetes 22 years ago.

Things had been going great until about two years ago when all of the secondary, associated conditions started to kick in - retinopathy in both eyes, neuropathy in both hands and both feet. carpal tunnel... the list goes on.

I was rated at 10% for retinopathy last February based on the visual fields test.  The condition has gotten worse - I had a bleed in my left eye the week before Thanksgiving, and I am still suffering residual effects.  Other than a period of about a week when I was unable to see out of that eye, my vision is about the same as before with some really large "floaters" that just won't go away.  In the interim, I have had a laser treatment and 3 avastin injections to the left eye, with monthly injections scheduled going forward.  Do these injections qualify as treatments with regard to getting my rating increased or does the rating rely exclusively on visual fields?
