DEA ( Chapter 35) question

Question

A member posted a question in my profile ,that I tried to answer, but I asked him to post it here for more answers.

What helps one vet can often help many more in the public forum.

I did not know the answer he needs to have.

This is the DEA pamphlet, and it has not really changed in years- the answer might be in it:

It had to do with an extention of his son's DEA due to applying to a school of dentistry-I think the son had been on DEA for some time.

Also there was the age factor-I believe his son was over 26 . I asked him to come to the main forum because I did not know the answer.

There are exceptions to the DEA age factor but I have no idea if VA would approve him for a dentistry medical college program. I didn't even think they would approve me for my degree at AMU-I was the first civilian graduate they ever had and I graduated with honors.

The Chapter 35 app did not say a dependent could not enroll into an approved Military university...so I would have appealed any denial. But didn't have to.AMU also awarded me a Certificate in Military studies.
