HadIt.com Elder GBArmy Posted June 21, 2020 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 21, 2020 Pacmanx1 That is pretty important to many veterans here, as many have taken or still take Metformin. Hopefully, nobody develops cancer from that med but that's what we are about: informing veterans of important news that affect them. Thanks for the heads up. Moderator pacmanx1 Posted June 22, 2020 Author Moderator Share Posted June 22, 2020 I heard this first on the news and then got a letter in the mail from the VA Pharmacy. Certain manufactures and lot batches are affected by the FDA recall. Not all metformin has been recalled, only specific lots from specific manufacturers are affected.
