Question

i have been awarded loss of use for both feet and both hands due to parkinson's.  they gave me an effective date of oct. 2021 when i filed my claim but my medical records show symptoms back to 2016. should they have made the effective date 2016 since parkinson's falls under nehmer law.

As a moderator, my intent is to provide the best advice for a Veteran available, and speculation on what is in the claimants file rendering a negative determination of "frivolous"  or futile is unproductive.   Therefore, I intend to close this post if unfounded name calling of "frivolous" or futile, are continued.  Instead, I ask that the posts be limited to a course of pro active and positive steps the Veteran can make to continue his or her claim, and not to render uninformed negative judgement calls.
